Recombinant Human OSM (N-6His)
Recombinant Human OSM (N-6His), also known as Oncostatin M, is a multifunctional glycoprotein belonging to the IL-6 cytokine family. It is produced in an E. coli expression system with an N-terminal 6×His tag, corresponding to the Ala26–Arg221 amino acid sequence of human OSM. OSM binds to heterodimeric receptor complexes composed of gp130 and OSMRβ or LIFR, activating multiple signaling pathways including JAK-STAT and MAPK. It exerts a wide range of biological functions, such as inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, inducing cell differentiation, and regulating inflammatory responses. In stem cell research, OSM effectively promotes the directed differentiation of embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and participates in key physiological processes including liver development, hematopoiesis regulation and bone metabolism. Manufactured under strict quality control and functionally validated, this product features high purity, high specific activity and low endotoxin, and is suitable for various applications such as cell culture, organoid differentiation, signaling pathway research and drug screening.
