Recombinant Human FGF-10
Recombinant Human FGF-10 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 10), also known as Keratinocyte Growth Factor 2 (KGF-2), is a heparin-binding growth factor in the FGF family that specifically acts on epithelial cells. It is produced in an E. coli expression system in a tag-free form, corresponding to the Gln38–Ser208 amino acid sequence of human FGF-10 protein. By specifically binding to the FGFR2 IIIb receptor on the surface of epithelial cells, FGF-10 activates downstream signaling pathways such as MAPK and PI3K/Akt under the synergistic effect of heparin, potently promotes epithelial cell proliferation, migration and differentiation, mediates mesenchymal-epithelial signal transduction, and plays a key regulatory role in the development and morphogenesis of organs such as the stomach, lung, liver and mammary gland. As a core supplement in organoid culture systems, FGF-10 can significantly improve the establishment efficiency and growth status of gastric organoids, lung organoids, hepatic organoids, prostate organoids, pituitary tumor organoids and breast cancer organoids. Manufactured under strict quality control and functional validation, this product features high purity, high specific activity, low endotoxin and excellent batch-to-batch consistency.
