Recombinant Human FGFa (140AA)
Recombinant Human FGFa/FGF1 (140AA), also known as recombinant human acidic fibroblast growth factor (FGF-1), is a non-glycosylated heparin-binding growth factor of the FGF family. It is produced in an E. coli expression system in a tag-free form, corresponding to the Phe16–Asp155 amino acid sequence of human FGF1 protein, totaling 140 amino acids. FGFa binds to and activates multiple fibroblast growth factor receptors including FGFR1b, FGFR1c, FGFR2b, FGFR2c, FGFR3c and FGFR4. With the synergistic effect of heparin/heparan sulfate, it activates downstream signaling pathways such as MAPK, PI3K/Akt and PLCγ, and broadly promotes the proliferation, migration and survival of cells derived from mesoderm, neuroectoderm and endoderm. This factor is widely involved in physiological processes including angiogenesis, tissue repair, embryonic development and neuroprotection, and serves as an important basic growth factor in stem cell culture, organoid line establishment and endothelial cell research. Manufactured under strict quality control and functional validation, this product features high purity, high specific activity, low endotoxin and excellent batch-to-batch consistency.
