Recombinant Human HGF (C-6His)
Recombinant Human HGF (C-6His), also known as Scatter Factor (SF), is a multifunctional secreted glycoprotein. Produced in a mammalian cell expression system with a C-terminal 6×His tag, it corresponds to the Gln32–Ser728 amino acid sequence of human HGF protein and naturally forms a heterodimer structure linked by a disulfide bond between the α-chain and β-chain. By specifically binding to the c-Met tyrosine kinase receptor on the cell membrane, HGF activates multiple downstream signaling pathways including PI3K/Akt, MAPK and STAT, and potently regulates cell proliferation, migration, invasion and morphogenesis. It plays a core role in organ development, tissue regeneration, angiogenesis and tumor microenvironment regulation. As a key growth factor in organoid culture systems, HGF can significantly improve the establishment efficiency, budding capacity and long-term expansion ability of various epithelial organoids such as hepatic, intestinal, mammary and lung organoids. Manufactured under strict quality control and functional validation, this product features high purity, high specific activity, low endotoxin and excellent batch-to-batch consistency.
